This AFN643 igniter-flame rod assembly replaces the original igniter-flame rod assembly used in the Q3400A, Q3450 and Q3480 smart valve systems. This part has a unique keyed connector that fits only the SV9500/SV9600 systems. The igniter ignites the pilot burner. The flame rod proves the pilot flame, and the pilot flame ignites the main burner. This assembly can be replaced without removing the pilot flame. Installation instructions are included.
